Who We Are

We have been working on the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 for 5 years and have shown our work with distinctgroups and provided memberships at a large scale. This website is designed basically as an aid to all the stakeholders of the RTIkeeping their specific needs in mind. We hope that every Citizen, Public Information Officer, First Appellate Authority, and Activists, etc. will find this website useful.

Praja Sankalpa Vedika was registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 on 7th July 2021 bearing registration number 205/2021. It was registered under NitiAayogGovt. of India bearing unique ID AP/2022/0311737. The main objective of this Vedika is to organize legal awareness camps, provide free legal aid with a helpline number, implement and enforcethe Right to Information Act,protecting human rights under the protection of human rights by forming separate committees at the state level, district level, and assembly level for the benefit of the public at large and to promote legal knowledge, social welfare at high standards.

Praja SankalpaVedika undertakes interactive legal awareness sessions and forms a team to keep the practice of the RTI Act in all fields. We indulge in the dissemination of information through lectures, seminars, distribution of literature, and other help to every citizen. These programs range from creating a basic level of awareness and extend to giving a thorough knowledge of the RTI Act.

Praja Sankalpa Vedikaencourages the use of the RTI Act in all spheres like the environment, public health, education, women and child welfare, etc. Weemphasize making the RTI Act a success wherein both the applicant and the public authorities are a common stakeholder.
